A concert of my works will be presented in Oporto, Portugal in the spring of 2011. Works included will be TIME CYCLES, AGREEMENTS & DISAGREEMENTS, MOUNTAIN DANCES, DANCE FRAMES and CELSIUS 961.

Recent Performances

A new work, WATER,WATER,WATER, 2011 using the poetry of Molly Fisk premiered in March 2011, at the Nevada County Composers Sound & Vision Festival. Featuring a sound design score and live performance on saxophone by the composer with the poet reading.

MOUNTAIN DANCES, a 4 mvt. work had Mountain Dance ,(Ride the Breeze), was re-scored for Choir, Piano and solo Tenor Saxophone or Flute. It was premiered in the Music in the Mountains Summer Festival 2009 and appears on a soaring video. Other Mountain Dances, (Spring and Winter) were re-scored for Soprano Sax, Tuba , String Quartet and Piano and received a recorded performance in Portugal with an E broadcast in the summer of 2010.

CELSIUS 961 for solo Flute was premiered at the N.C.C.C. Sound & Vision Festival, Feb. 2010 and accompanied two Tai Chi forms. It may be heard & seen on YouTube and also at Command Performance concert Oct, 2010 in Grass Valley, CA.

New choral works, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE for SATB and 4 percussion with text from the Bible, 1st Corinthians verse 13, was premiered at the WET INK New Music Festival, June, 2010. And also received a sterling performance in November 2010 at the New Music Festival at CSU Fresno under the direction of Anna Hambre.

WE ARE ONE for SATB chorus and Orchestra was premiered at the Music in the Mountains Summer Festival, July 2010.
